Adopt from the Bulloch County Animal Shelter

It's our way of saying thank you for saving a life!

Visit Adopt for the Humane Society's adoptable pets or for a link to the county shelter's adoptable pets.

A BIG thanks to the Petco Foundation for the $10,000 grant
to help save "Last Chance" pets from the county shelter!
We've taken out 179 pets from the shelter so far this year with Petco's help!
You, too, can help by fostering a pet!

A BIG thanks to Second Life for the $1725 grant
for our spay and neuter program!

Chopper (second left) was removed from the county shelter by the Humane Society the day before he was to be "put down." Look at him now! He loves hanging with his brothers and sisters in his forever home.
Check out our programs and get involved or donate today. Your generosity is tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

This past April, the "adoptable dog" was made the state dog of Georgia.
The new law also states the State of Georgia will promote animal rescue, adoption, and being a responsible pet owner.
Adopt your own "Georgia State Dog"!

pets of the week

Lucy is a sweet-tempered lab/terrrier mix. This gentle soul is 3 years young which means she has outgrown all that puppy nonsense!

This boy is a three month old furry ball of love and fun. And, basic black is always in fashion!

James has two speeds--full steam and asleep. He is super friendly and loves people. He would love to be your cuddle buddy.

This handsome boy is two years young, is good with other dogs, and loves people. If you are interested in a whole lot of dog to love, he's your boy!

For more information about these pets or any of those listed on our Adopt page, contact the Humane Society at 912-681-9393 or at borohumane@gmail.com

We are forever thankful for the veterinarians and staff at
Best Friends Animal Hospital,
Gateway Animal Hospital,
and Statesboro Bulloch Regional Veterinary Hospital.
Without their assistance and kind care
we would not be able to save the pets we do!
Thank you!
